Order an OID

Along with the steadily increasing availability of geodata, the demand for more updates and integration in different databases is growing. Therefore, standardized object identifiers (OID) are necessary: an OID identifies an object instance even if attribute values should alter. At least within one transfer community an OID must be unique, unequivocal and unchangeable.

An object identifier (OID) consists of a prefix and a postfix and has got a set length of 16 alphanumerical characters. You can order an OID prefix with this service.

Note: After ordering the OID, the input fields can no longer be edited, not even the comment field.

Please provide e-mail address if you already ordered an OID
